Tackling Cardiovascular Disease with Heart
Cardurion is a clinical-stage biotechnology company discovering and developing new therapeutic approaches to address the leading cause of death worldwide – cardiovascular disease.
Our team has extensive expertise in cardiovascular biology, signaling pathways and drug discovery and development, and we translate that expertise into groundbreaking therapeutics.
Our goal is to build a world-class biotechnology company pursuing novel and important biological targets that impact causal biology in cardiovascular disease.
Leveraging our internal cardiovascular drug discovery and development team, as well as our business development capabilities, we have built a clinical-stage pipeline consisting of product candidates targeting phosphodiesterase-9 (PDE9) and calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII).
We are the first company to advance product candidates against these novel and important targets into clinical testing for the treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Cardurion Pharmaceuticals K.K. is our discovery sciences team and research facility in Shonan, Japan. The team at Cardurion K.K. includes highly experienced cardiovascular drug discovery scientists who bring decades of expertise and leverage cutting-edge medicinal chemistry, computational molecular modeling and design, molecular biology and genetic engineering. This team has been instrumental in advancing Cardurion’s novel drug programs into clinical development and continues to bring capabilities for identifying new drug candidates for cardiovascular targets.
